Lytec 2009 versus Lytec MD
- Lytec 2009 is a Practice Management software solution that integrates appointment scheduling, patient accounting and billing, insurance claims, and business reporting.
- Lytec MD includes the full suite of capabilities of Lytec 2009 and adds integrated Electronic Health Records, allowing a physician to update a patients’ entire medical chart from a one page note-centric form.
Lytec 2009 Licensing Options
- Single User (for a 1 user practice or biller)
- Multi-User (1-3 simultaneous users)
The application could be installed on 5 or more PCs, however only 3 concurrent users would be allowed to log in to the Lytec software. - Professional (1-5 simultaneous users)
This version adds Encoder Pro, a powerful tool that helps you code CPT-4, ICD-9 and HCPCS Codes correctly, reducing claim rejections. A Code Import tool also reduces errors by retrieving the latest procedure codes (ICD-9 and HCPCS) in to your software.
It is possible to use a powerful Windows XP or Vista Business workstation as the server for this (and lesser) version(s). - Client/Server (>5 simultaneous users)
Similar to the ‘Professional’ version in its featureset, but adds an enterprise-class SQL database to its foundation, requiring a more hefty Windows Server, but increasing dependability and integrity of data.
Lytec MD Licensing
- Lytec MD is sold as a 5 simultaneous user per 1 provider license. Additional licenses can be acquired a la carte.
